Sponsored by the Borough of Rutherford. This is New Jersey's largest & longest running street fair, featuring over 150 antiques, collectibles and arts & crafts exhibits, music, dancers, puppets, ethnic foods and much more. Borough civic groups host games and raffles, and sell homemade foods in Lincoln Park. Clowns and choral groups stroll the fair and several bands perform all day. 10am-5pm rain or shine.

The nuns are back, this time in the original musical comedy that launched an entire industry. Join the Little Sisters of Hoboken at Mount St. Helen's Academy in this hysterical show that ran for over 10 years in New York and spawned 5 sequels. If you see this show and don't like to laugh, you haven't a prayer!

The Arts Council of Princeton is pleased to announce a special event: ⌠Music in the Park(ing Lot)' from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, it will feature the popular band the Klez Dispensers. A seven-piece band, comprising clarinet, trumpet, violin, saxophone, piano, bass, and drums, the Klez Dispensers have a diverse repertoire that includes traditional klezmer, jazz, swing, and original compositions. Free and open to the public.

The Township of Neptune is sponsoring a live concert and spectacular fireworks display on the Boardwalk in Ocean Grove. The Live music performance will begin at 7pm and the fireworks display at 8:30pm. The Fireworks will mark the kick off for Neptune Day, which is scheduled for Saturday September 6th.

The Township of Neptune is sponsoring it's Annual Neptune Day celebration. The event will kickoff at 12 noon and continue til 5pm. There will be plenty of food vendors, arts and craft vendors, flea market vendors and lots of music and fun. Many volunteer organizations will be present as well to offer their services and information to the several thousands of vistors who attend each year. Learn about how to attract butterflies to your own garden, as Reeves-Reed Arboretum officially opens its newest garden, 'Charlotte's Butterfly Walk,' which has attracted hundreds of butterflies in a few weeks. Monarch butterflies will be tagged and released. 10 a.m.

Colts Neck Polo will offer six Sunday matches of polo, the world's oldest sport, on the Bucks Mill Park polo field, a beautiful natural area perfect for picnics and exciting equestrian competition. Proceeds of the donation fee go to charitable service organizations.

The arrival of a new lector is a cause for celebration, but when he begins to read aloud from Anna Karenina, he unwittingly becomes a catalyst in the lives of his avid listeners, for whom Tolstoy, the tropics, and the American dream prove a volatile combination.

The presenter brings an all new adaptation of this horror story written by Washington Irving. The interactive one-man interpretation of the story of the headless horseman draws the audience into the schoolmaster's world in sleepy Tarry Town.
Charlayne Woodard and Proof's Tony Award winning director, Daniel Sullivan join to bring us another acclaimed new play. Following the path laid out in Pretty Fire and Neat, Woodard's autobiographical tale brings us to her salad days as a young New York actress auditioning and ultimately landing her break out role in MTC's own Ain't Misbehavin' .

“Les Luthiers” is an Argentine musical comedy that has been touring internationally for over 30 years. The show entertains the audience with a charade of a very formal concert offered by soloists, a small choir and an orchestra playing unconventional instruments that the very same performers have built with materials taken from their own home.

4th Annual Head of the Passiac Regatta is the largest rowing race in Northern New Jersey. Over 300 rowers are involved from colleges from NYC, PA, CT and LI as well as High School rowers and Master rowers age 25 all the way to 65. Held at Nereid Boat Club, come check out the excitement of a rowing race, there will be Bar-B-Ques and vendors present. Information for rowing programs and the race will be provided. Fun for families, kids, college students and all ages.

VICTORIAN HOUSE TOUR: The Mount Tabor Historical Society hosts its tenth annual House Tour. Mt. Tabor is located in Morris County along Route 53 between Denville and Morris Plains. The self-guided tour will be held rain or shine. Tickets are $15.00 per person and may be purchased on the day of the tour at the gazebo on Simpson Ave., near the Tabernacle. The festival, a unique international food and music celebration, will operate Saturday from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm and Sunday 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Parish members will prepare and serve a wide variety of ethnic dishes including Ukranian pierogies, Irish stew, Italian sausage and meatballs. Filipino rice dishes, various Eastern European selections as well as American hot dogs. Also available are homemade cookies, cakes and pies.
Entre Vozes brings together four accomplished female vocalists – Maria Armanda, Alice Pires, Teresa Tapadas, and Alexandra – who join forces to pay tribute to fado, Portugal's national song form. This evening of soulful music also features Ricardo Rocha, the most accomplished Portuguese guitarist of his generation.
